And so it begins – school and work in 2026 on a snowy morning, with another celebration and a belated present awaiting us.

Happy New Year, everybody! Once home, we occupied ourselves with the preparations for the very last night of the year. Then, celebrating, binging and gift-opening called for our attention. We finished the holiday week with a quick visit to the Christmas market, some healthy family competition and new habits. 2026, we’re ready for you!
22th – 28th December, 2025
And we flew off! Towards the sun and temperatures that allow us to roam around in short sleeves, where I developed a serious obsession with oranges. Unfortunately, they are not edible – we’ve established that years ago – but still make for a spectacular view.
9th – 15th September, 2024
As school is starting for some, we still ave some time left. So we tried to squeeze in these last few summer days as much as much as we possibly could, with the final return home to end these holidays the only way we know how to.
2nd – 8th September, 2024
It was just one single (very hot, very tiring, very bountiful) day, so full of experiences and emotions as to fill the whole week! Can you guess where we went?

After a quick cultural stop, we finally reach the see, the islands, the beaches. Summer, here we go!

Having finally set sail from Luxembourg to spend part of our week in Bosnia – with a quick pit stop in Slovenia – snapping images of food was absolutely and utterly unavoidable. Huge amounts of different food, often. Fresh, juicy, gloriously good food, as well.

Sunday opened our season of celebrations. Bubbly, (more) cake, even fireworks are all coming our way!

So much has been revolving around food these last few days – a chocolaty going-away neighbourly present, candy-like fruit, a cake stand our friends hosted, presents for Mother’s Day. We’ve had a delicious time, is what I’m saying!
