And we flew off! Towards the sun and temperatures that allow us to roam around in short sleeves, where I developed a serious obsession with oranges. Unfortunately, they are not edible – we’ve established that years ago – but still make for a spectacular view.

The absence of heat

It was a busy week, full of tasks to complete and projects to develop, multiple rooms to declutter, promises to keep and expectations to meet. But as days went by and the chill turned into cold, then utter frost, my energy, focus and thus capacity to complete, develop, declutter, keep or meet decreased steadily.
In the absence of heat, your brain can focus on one thing only – how to fulfill one of the only five basic physiological human needs.

As school is starting for some, we still ave some time left. So we tried to squeeze in these last few summer days as much as much as we possibly could, with the final return home to end these holidays the only way we know how to.
