And just like that, we’re back. Back to our normal lives and chores with a new start, a new board game, a new bike (and all the possibility it holds), and a whole lot of new books to sink our teeth into.

After nearly a year and a half, we were finally able to see, talk to and hug at least some of our family! And see our native land, which we took full advantage of and could not possibly summarise in less than 10 pictures.

Continuing with the same themes of Easter, bad weather and peculiar cars, we lived through another week.

The week before the grand finale has been, quite obviously, chocolate themed with frequent trips to the park and a surprise old-timer exhibition.
22nd – 28th March, 2021
Easter preparations were underway this week, culminating in the traditional Egg Hunt in the forest and two long-awaited parcels.
15th – 21st March, 2021
Too much choice made us leave the shop with a bagful of presents, only one among them for the birthday girl, and spent the rest of the week playing our new board game.
8th-14th March, 2021
With the International Women’s Day and Bretzelsonndeg both in the same week, excuses for celebrations just keep coming.
1st – 7th February, 2021
The highlight of our week was Sunday. Feeding hairy quadrupeds, lunch al fresco, and finishing homework on the picnic blanket is what life should be all about. It’s been a week filled with my children snuggling and matching, family time accompanied by popcorn, and Christmas presents coming into good use.
