And we flew off! Towards the sun and temperatures that allow us to roam around in short sleeves, where I developed a serious obsession with oranges. Unfortunately, they are not edible – we’ve established that years ago – but still make for a spectacular view.

We’ve changed location but continue to be staying close to the sea, still, in various ways. It’s our last week breathing in the Mediterranean air; however, we’ve finally received the keys that will make us come here even more often.

The amount of social obligations we attended in the last seven days may have emptied our energy but filled our hearts with love and appreciation.

My week started as many others – with Luxembourgish classes and delighting over my new nails. It progressed, though into a flooded kitchen that caused utter stress and last-minute packing. But all is well that ends well, especially if on holidays!
What lies behind
So there are a few points to be made here. First, you cannot possibly know what goes on behind the scenes.
And secondly, no matter how agonising the moment, this too, shall pass. All that will remain are lovely pictures and sweet-smiling babies.
