Easter preparations were underway this week, culminating in the traditional Egg Hunt in the forest and two long-awaited parcels.

Too much choice made us leave the shop with a bagful of presents, only one among them for the birthday girl, and spent the rest of the week playing our new board game.

I don’t know about you but in all of this darkness – literal and metaphorical – I felt an overwhelming need for light so I set out to hunt it down. To brighten up your week as well, you get a bonus snap of brightness and shine! Till next week!

From sea to mountains. With a final sunset on native soil, we’ve come full circle.

Except for the utter panic and visions of half my family being lost to the mountains, there was sea every day, all day long. With the occasional visit to the pool, of course.

The last few days are always hectic, trying to squeeze in all last-minute errands. So here are a few, with a final sunrise on native soil.
10th – 16th August 2020
We tried to settle all the loose strings before leaving Luxembourg and returnig once autumn will set in, most probably. Balloons were certainly an added bonus.
3rd – 9th August 2020
Outside is where we’ve been spending most of our days, preferably splashing around and dancing in between. The heat has finally gone to our heads!

With Jakob occupied with his all-day football trainings, it was girls’ time. However, we still managed to notice a very Luxembourgish display of the European spirit.
