Sleepovers are life! The day of reckoning might come soon, when I’m left all alone with 4 children, but this week I’m having cocktails and dinner alone with my husband. And with this very unusual school year drawing to an end, a gigantic red juicy summer fun is just about to begin.

This holiday week was a big one! After joining a sea of people in expressing their hope for the future, Jakob decided to shad his training wheels, dance classes restarted (reprise) and Mother’s Day (breakfast in bed) happened. A very enjoyable week, indeed! 😉
1st – 7th June
This week was all about food – getting back into a routine of preparing school snacks, a long overdue tasting of a local speciality and a package full of goodies, straight from grandma’s kitchen. To counterbalance all that, Jakob says boks and karate are the best!

Waiting for schools to reopen again (only two weeks left!) we treated our car to the wildest action it has seen in weeks and had the tooth fairy visit Jakob for the very first time!

As the confinement measures begin to slowly ease, much becomes more effortless However, it was the reopening of the park(s) that marked the highlight of our week!

As April turns into May, marking Labour Day becomes tricky but except a few days of rain, the sun insists on keeping us company. Strange times, indeed!
