The last few days are always hectic, trying to squeeze in all last-minute errands. So here are a few, with a final sunrise on native soil.

10th – 16th August 2020
We tried to settle all the loose strings before leaving Luxembourg and returnig once autumn will set in, most probably. Balloons were certainly an added bonus.
3rd – 9th August 2020
Outside is where we’ve been spending most of our days, preferably splashing around and dancing in between. The heat has finally gone to our heads!
27th July – 2nd August 2020
With Jakob occupied with his all-day football trainings, it was girls’ time. However, we still managed to notice a very Luxembourgish display of the European spirit.
20th – 26th July
With the first full week of holidays, we’ve been unstoppable! After a long search, even a beloved ring has been found.
13th – 19th July
And so the summer begins! With end-of-year presents, fun rides, loads of ice-cream and a very special dinner with my favourite boy in the whole wide world.
6th – 12th July
Sleepovers are life! The day of reckoning might come soon, when I’m left all alone with 4 children, but this week I’m having cocktails and dinner alone with my husband. And with this very unusual school year drawing to an end, a gigantic red juicy summer fun is just about to begin.
A tradition in the making
It’s a wee obsession of mine, finding traditions to sprinkle onto our lives. One of the more established ones is a special T-shirt for my child’s birthday.
29th June – 5th July 2020
The things you lay your eyes upon during a simple stroll through your neighbourhood! A huge piece of the hail aftermath, a luxury car, your gardening efforts, finally coming to fruition. And a piece of paper, certifying you might be, slowly but surely, becoming a true local.
7 years and counting
After a highly emotional (and teary!) write-up last year, I do not have much to add a year later.
